List of significant changes to this site since it went online (November 2021)

• October 10, 2026 : Assessment tools (questionnaires) designed to measure factors influencing return to work are now available. Click on “Tools” in Tables 1 and 2 to access their descriptive fact sheets and download most of them. These resources can support the assessment of workers on sick leave.
• February 17, 2025 : Added the Tool for supporting a Gradual Return to Work (TS-GRTW V2) to the guides for a healthy and sustainable return to work, and improved the layout of this section of the website.
• February 03, 2025 : About disclosing your health condition : Added links to the new free online tool DCIDE (Decision-Support for Communicating about Invisible Disabilities that are Episodic), which aims to help workers determine whether or not to share some personal health information with others in the workplace.
• November 11, 2024 : Identification and definition of modifiable factors influencing return to work among workers with an MSD (Table 1: 18 factors) or a CMD (Table 2: 5 factors).
• October 11, 2024 : English translation: The site is now bilingual, with a “French/English” icon in the menu to switch between the two languages.
• October 11, 2024 : Roles/responsibilities and actions for each RTW player: Updated roles and responsibilities, as well as actions to consider at each stage of the return to work. The information is currently comprehensive, covering not only the various actors in the workplace, but now also all healthcare professionals and insurers.
• October 11, 2024 : Workplace accommodations – section 3. How to implement them: Added links to new online tools to help employers or workers identify the most appropriate accommodations.
• October 3, 2022 : Tool for measuring the “return-to-work self-efficacy” factor (https://retourautravail.irsst.qc.ca/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Self-efficacy_RTW_RTW-SE_-_11_items_PL-FR.pdf): An error was found in the questionnaire (item 9 was to be considered as an inverted item), which affects the calculation of the score for this questionnaire.
• August 31, 2022 : Core activities (https://retourautravail.irsst.qc.ca/processus-retour-au-travail/en-milieu-de-travail/#essentiel): Content completely rewritten
